downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
Elo people, since my rim is fooked, il need a new one. But im wondering, which rim out of the, onza hog rim, and the onza ronnie rim, should i buy? Il probably be going to have a very fine grind, so i need a rim which will hold grinds well. ATM, i have the hog, but im not too keen on this rim anymore, iv dented it too many time :P But if i bought a ronnie, would this mean i would have to buy new spokes aswell? which i dont have the money for B) So i might just buy the hog... Help me!! :P
Joe_Elding
Definately a ronnie they are slightly thinner but hence slightly stronger, But this means that the spokes would be 2mm too short so just buy some new ones, but its worth it if your getting a stronger rim in the process. Swize
Arnt hog rims ment to be the same as koxx rims if so dont get another as 1. They don'y hold grinds well 2. There strong as cheese 3. Have little braking surface My vote goes to the onza ronnie B) and yes you would need new spokes. Also I swear you said in a topic you where running ur tyre at like 18psi, unless your doing huge downgaps ect you must be majour harsh lol :P
downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
I was doing quite a large drop gap (9foot gap) (5 foot grop) to this little drain thing, and landed right on the corner of the drain. i think i might have had 18psi, not too sure, but now i have it at like 23 lol
