Hi people, got on my bike this morning, and started to ride and went staright over the bars, i then looked at my front brake and found out the front disk rotor is bent, but i dont know how its happened!

I havnt landed/hit it on anything.

Anyways, iv tryed bending it back, but it just wont, so i think im gonna go buy a new one, i just dont know what size it is.

Could anyone help on the magura louise disk sizes please?

Its the older style brake with the lumo yellow lever.

Smallest size i think....

try to bend it back again, since buying a new one is very expensive...

I've bend mine back a few times, im sure you'll get it straight enough.

Yeah, iv just bent it back enough to ride, but for some reason, my front brake has went shit and isnt as powerful as normal :turned:

P.S going riding with jordy next weekend (Y)

yeah straightening it out would be alot cheaper than ordering a new one, although if it is really bent straightening will weaken it

just remember to give the disc a good clean when you finished with it, whilst the wheels out you could always give the pads a quick clean with some sandpaper just incase they got greasy before

Put the rotor between 2 flat, hard pieces of wood and hit them with a hammer.

doesnt work like that, its spring steal.

Say, the rotor is bent 1cm to the right, to band it back to the middle, you will have to bend it back around 1cm to the left, enough for it to bend back into shape.
