emery
My pedal was stuck once  but I tried to take it off even though it was cross threaded, it ended up threading my crank. On tensiles cant you get a thread if the old one threads. Well my crank threaded so I need a knew set but it could be that it's cross threaded not sure though. toby (Y)
RicH_87
you sure you're turning it the rigth way, pedals have opposite threads you know, to make sure they don't come off when you're pedaling. from memory i think the right hand pedal is regular thread, where as the left is opposite
Mark W
Rich is correct. To take off the left pedal, you need to turn it clockwise. The pedal inserts on Tensiles do come off with your pedals sometimes. You can either glue them back in, then wait a while and then undo the pedal again, or you can clamp the insert in a vice, undo the pedal, and then put some new pedal thread inserts in. But yeah, make sure you're un-doing it the correct way. If it won't come out then - longer spanner

wayneone
Ive have a encounter like this, what we had to do was take a long spanner to it, when we hoofed the spanner with a hammer untill it came loose, took some doing but it worked. Also a rule of thumb of undoing cranks to do them up turn them towards the front wheel.
Mark W
im deffently turning them the right way, the removable pedal thread in the crank has moved and i dont know how to remove it :) Just takes a bit of effort. The whole thing will come out, but it's a super tight fit. Once it's out about half-way, get some Araldite mixed up, coat the inside of the crank arm where the pedal insert goes, tighten it up again, wait an hour and a half then try again (Y)
