Low Cost Trials Capable Bikes.

Since not everyone can afford a true trials bike, any since beginners don't exactly NEED a level boss with chris king components and the like, what are some ( in your opinion ) are good alternatives.

Seeing as a lot of kids come here and ask "What bike would I need" etc etc

My say is the Giant STP 2 and 3.

Relatively cheap 600 or 400 USD MSRP, so generally going to be cheaper. Easy to modify..deisgned for none other than Jeff Lenosky.

I would say the saracen Xray. comes with a half decent alloy frame, and rigid forks. has a few too many gears, basic wheels and V brakes, but these can be upgraded later. Only £150 as well!

Onza T-Vee = I would advise against this as the T-Bird is only such a small amount more but if you don't wanna pay anymore go for it.

Onza T-Bird = Not as good as the T-Pro but is £100 less at around the £300 mark.

Onza T-Pro = Uber pimp Mod for the money. £420

Onza T-Rex = For the proper folk who wanna go stock. £500 or £700 for the Spec 2.

The For Sale/Wanted section here means you can always drop on a bargain.

The new MADs seem good awell, but as they've only been out a sort while they haven't been put through their paces yet :blink:

Mission Reefers too, £400ish and stock. But probably better to get the T-Rex for the extra £100.
