011001000110010101110010
As a general rule dont go for a car about 1.2 as your first car. Insurance companies love to steal young drivers money. Just had a quick look on parkers and it says the tigra is group 10 insurance. Which wont happen as your first car. Look elsewhere. Go for something small for the first year then get the insurance down so you can get that tigra. Fred

Prawny Baby
or just dont get a tigra at all (Y):D:D from what ive been told they aint too nice"! all the irritating impracticallity of a 2 seater with NONE of the benefits.... plus theyre ugly as sin!!!!! get something small, crap, and slow for your first year! after that, its your call
RicH_87
not to mention tigra's are a girls car (sez me who drives a gayo clio), but yeh, another one for 'don't go near it with a barge pole', only vauxhall i would ever think of owning would be a vectra, or possible that australian v8 thingy, (not strictly a vauxhall), and even then it would only be if it was a company car. For a first car you gotta keep it simple and cheap, (fiesta, clio, polo, corsa if you must have a vauxhall, maybe an old corolla, micra or anythign japanese really). Roeman
Vauxhall Tigras are corsas with a different body on them, i would just buy a corsa, cheaper insureance, and you wont't look like a girl! And the ford puma is a much better car if your looking at sporty little cars

stubert
Tigras are not worth a lookin at all unless ur a housewife whos husband will pay for repairs etc etc As people have said, something slow and reliable is what u want. I have a 1.0 R reg polo and its perfect, its done 88k miles and it will last a good few more years, its 3 door and can easily fit 2 bikes in the back with the seats down (N) my insurance with my mum on as primary driver is only about 500 quid, and the car itself would only set u back about a grand they also come in 1.4 model which is solid as a rock and has a little more vroom
