yeh make sure you measure the lenght of the axle or write down the sizes of your old bb if you dont it could cause you a few problems

im going to ask orange what size it should be, the one that was in there im not sure was the right size

it should have a stamp or sticker stating the sizes, if it doesnt you may be best taking it to a bike shop and ask for one the same size. to measure it yourself you would really need a vernier calliper. if you do take the measure ment of the thread of the bb (most common is 68mm) and take the measurement of lengh of the axle if this is not right the cranks might not fit.

depends on your riding style mate to be honest the shimano bbs arnt tht good. think im using a cheap race face 1 n i like it. but id recomend the fsa platinum pro 40grams i think for £25 nice n light i am heavy footed at times so it may last you longer. get on www.chainreactioncycles.com n have a look
