JT!
nope not diktor, you can buy a welded acs claw freewheel, cant remember where from now but you can buy them selectbikes and the loverly people at viz. Mind you the welded ones can still come loose. :P
downhill_rob2@hotmail.com
dont buy a welded one, cause they weld it then grind down the tabs to remove the freewheel from the crank arms, so its a bitch to take off.... so just buy a normal "unwelded" freewheel, then weld it up yourself, i done it, its worked mint, hasnt came loose... well only a VERY small amount, but not too much! rickyb
Why not do what JT said to do ? Get an acs loosen the lock ring minding the b'b's and put a bit of locktite or glue in the threds so that it will not come lose. Thats your best bet if you don't have enough to buy a ENO :P . rickyb
moo
when i was riding an acs freewheel i was constantly tightening it. at one point i had to rebuild the damm thing but they are really good. depends on what locktight you use as it comes in different grades as some just protect against vibration. if you pop into say a garage or engineering workshop see if they have lock tight bearing lock this stuff sets like concrete and will never come off. i work as a mechanical engineer so i use locktight alot. you may also find the more engagment points the weaker it will become
