fairy elephants
I get it, in my upper back. i put it down to my bike being too short and making me hunched... (excuse to get a new bike (Y) )
cookie456_the2nd
I get it when i havent ridden properly for ages or im just trying something really hard. Thinking about it, my back hurts now a bit. When your body is used to the stress of the riding you wont really notice it.

Josephine
I think almost everyone on here will say there upper back gets sore, in the same way most runners will complain that their legs ache a lot, it's just that you use it a lot, get some more protein down you and it'll soon adapt to the strain of riding. nb88
I got it really really bad on my old monty x-lite, hurt for absolutely ages afterwards for months... couldnt get rid of the ache, even when i hadnt been riding for a while. Sold it because of the ache, got a python...got a let better. ended up selling that aswell, got a stock, no back problems at all (Y) . I put it down to having a short, low bike. Was basically like mini mans when i had my monty - hurt absolutely loads in the morning after riding. N.Wood
Trials rider's backs are a thing to behold... I look like a tortoise, i have all of zero muscle on my front and big back muscles. My lower back tends to hurt if i ride a short bike, and my upper back seems to hurt after a long ride as thats when you use it... Riding. Just ride it out. Mr Motivator
Well I didn't and then one day my lower back started really hurting and it hurt to walk and stuff. Then one day it went, and I havn't had any pain for about a year. Just warm up good before you ride.
