Zoo_Monkey
i am building a spare back wheel for my trials rig and have a choice of 3 rims (the reason for this is to complicated to post so just understand these are the only rims i can go for) Onza Ronnie 26" ground rim (rear) Onza Hog 26" (rear) koxx try all 26" (rear) i need an honest opinion on the strength of these rims, i currently run a d521 which is the best rim iv ever used for strength and confidence inspiring reliability. but as i said i want to know which of the above 3 would be your personal preference. rickyb
Do not go for the try-all if you are looking for strength go for either the ronnie or the hog i say go for the ronnie they should last a long time look pritty cool aswell :) :P rickyb
Simpson
I run a ronnie, it been smashed side walls grinded ova and ova, bent, bent back, pin came out of the join and still going strong i dont know about the others but a solid wheel especially for a beginner
Endohopper
My vote goes to Onza's Ronnie , seems very reliable , as stated above . I'll be running one soon on my blue Hope hub .
Simon
Hog = stronger Koxx rim, but still reasonably shit. Get the Ronny, thou shall not be dissapointed. It sure as hell won't be as strong as the D521, nothing wide ever is, but its close. Remember, a rear wheel is 90% how strong you build it, so take your time.
