Dai the Socket
I have no idea where to get one from. It's either too long or too short (just) and my wheel's fully forwards. Need a half link for the phat bmx KMC chains, any idea where to get one from? Cheers, Nick

shovel
you say its just too long with the wheel fully forwards right, just pull the wheel back and run it like that until the chain stretches and then take a link out and put the wheel all the way forward again
Dai the Socket
you say its just too long with the wheel fully forwards right, just pull the wheel back and run it like that until the chain stretches and then take a link out and put the wheel all the way forward again Lol. I mean really. For some reason, on my CLS python and Profile hub; With the wheel FULLY FORWARDS, as far as it can go, The links won't go together enough by like 2 mm for my to put the chain back together properly. With the wheel as far back as it'll go, and that extra link in, It's as slack as Danny Tipple's mum (:)) when the wheel's as far back as it'll go! Can I use any split link? I thought it'd have to be a special one. I got some kinda of split link, with one side of a link in the middle for some reason. Can't work out how to get it out like. Or how it'd work at all. Cheers for the help so far. Nick Edited October 9, 2005 by mod661
