totaltrials
just reading a disc packet today and yes it was stainless steel. that was an aztec rotor (Y) cant realy surface grind rotors as they tent to have magnetic tables thus pulling the disc flat and after you grid and take it off the bed it springs back to its original shape and you have high and lo spots, unless its perfectly true and flat (Y) You can surface grind them there are techniques like using half magnet or less than half magnet to grind the first side, by doing this you eliminate the spring when you release it, whack it over then do the other side, I tend to use half magnet on anything I grind though, you should be able to move the part on the magnetic table with your hand, then you know it's clamped enough, although it's fun when the wheel explodes in your face, hahaha. You actually managed to get an aztec rotor :- only the best. Phil.

Ali C
but are crap in the wet so I have heard. I am just gonna run normal pads on the rotor, they wont last as long, but the brake will be super powerful, perfect for comps (will be replaced by a normal steel one for everyday riding)
ScotchDave
If your gonna be changing rotors often try and get some bolts with normal head on them as opposed to the narrow hope ones if your set up fits it.
