Koxx - Try All Rim

I would suggest getting a hog rim from onza. Same rim but with eyelets and doesnt have a stupid try all logo on it. Between 32 and 36, I would go for 32 as there is no real benefit strength wise from getting 36, the only advantage is its easier to true. It depends what hole your hub is, if getting a new hub aswell, then go for a 32

My onza rim was shit, brakes sucked the grind went after a day and flat spotted easy.

Way better than koxx rims though. And ronnies are the same material as echo rims i think?

If your bike can fit it, mavic rims are pretty awesome...im running an ALEX rim atm which is ace too but im not sure where you buy them from (got my bike 2nd hand).

And yeah my mate runs a ronnie on his koxx levelboss with no problems. :bunny:

Corner B) that was with medium-high pressure too. At the moment that is upright + being used as a door wedge :S

My koxx rim is still going. I've done a few 6ft drops and its ok :bunny: landed harshly on it too and tis fine

oh and its blue :("

You must be a harsh rider (N) my DM24 is strong as fook, run a low pressure and hardly dent it even after landing heavily.

nozmeister???? have you ever run a koxx rim?????i really do find you have posted the following:

I hate koxx rims myself....they dent easily, dont hold grinds for long and quite frankly brakes rim brakes suck on them . I'd recommend an onza ronnie instead.

doyou hate cos you havent tried???im just curious, cos if you ask most of the lads i have ridden with these last 2 weeks they will tell you how crazy my brake works and how big i have been going yet my rim is still living, and just to give you an idea and sometyhing i worked out, a ronnie rim is |--------| there fore very straight when hitting an edge it kinks inwards therfore denting...........a koxx and onza hog rim and viz rim is \--------/ therefore the rim is sort of splayed out and is alot harder to dent with it already been angled out. jus my theory on it but i am yet to be proven wrong as my blue rim is in mint condition and it has literally had 1 grind and its still there after 2 copetitions alot of street and quite alot of natural too, most of the atural was in sand stone mud aswell. its only my opinion on things but if you have been told by others that koxx rims are shit dont believe them until you have tried them, cos i believed alot of people but i convinced myself to "TRY" it and after a bit of persuasion i trie it and i wouldnt look back now. they deffo are so much nicer to ride on, and they sure dont dent as easy, iv been doing 9/10ft drop gaps and landing pretty harsh on some of them and the rim is still round.

Waynio........................

it would be really nice to know who has used the rims and if they have trashed them how and why? look at daves wheel it was literally square before he even knackered it, and dave was out with me with mike and co in keighley one sunday night and they saw how much abuse my rims take.............hahaha propa abusage session

i have had no problems with my koxx rims and wouldnt go back to using anything else, unless i had to. the width is nice on em too, wider gives tyre more profile. im glad i took Fred Savages advice earlier this year about it. cos i aint looked back since i put my first koxx rim on.

Waynio..........................
