well, its lunchtime, mum made some curry last night :) (a chicken korma for those who like all the facts) shoved some in a bowl with some rice and shoved it in the microwave for 4 mins. took it out the microwave, all smet scrummy and tasty :- . i sat down with my meal and stabbed a piece of chicken which exploded with some kind of gay fury  ;) . it scared the shit out of me.

has anyone elses chicken exploded??

all i can put it down to is a build up of air inside the piece of chicken. :(

thanks for all input. mat

time to piss on fireworks :S

it does it because your fork was cold and the chicken hot therefore it actually reacts due to it still cooking( we did this in science)

if you warm liquid in microwave and put a cold spoon in it it chucks out everywhere for the same reason

i thought it was cool but i am lame lol

oggy

its like if you re-heat milky coffee in the microwave. it settles in layers in the cup, then u bung it in the microwave and it heats up, but the different layer heat up different amounts, then as you pull the mug out, the different temperature react with each other :S :)

or a cd...

what i wonder though, is why you felt the need to warm it for 4 minutes? 2 mins makes everything scalding hot, at least in our microwave oven....

i've never had anything explode, but i have made stuff catch fire in it... one of those aluminium lined paper bags you get when you buy grilled chicken and stuff i think it was, fair while ago now though (10+ years).
