Nick Dale
Ok so i have decided i want to go for some new cranks....but which! i have been looking at the longer cranks to get that little bit more power as my monty ones are only 158.....what i want to know is which are the beter the zoo or the tensile? good bad points of both sets please also lots of the tensile cranks seem to of snapped  is it just a defect when they were made? Nick.
JT!
The reason more tensiles seem to be snapping is becuase there's more of them out thereto be snapped. Never ridden with the zoo's but from what i ahve heard they are both very similar. My tensiles were always fit and forget. Untill one snapped, but other than they they have been perfect. nafan
Never had either but the tensiles (although they look slightly heavier) in my opinion are the stronger of the two...

Nick Dale
Looks like its the tensiles then...is it worth getting just the arms and the getting a fixed cog because i already have a echo bash? With the UCI version can you still get the bash and cog off because it says its intergrated  What you reckon? Nick.
jamesb
The bash slips on and off on the UCI version, and you could ask for the cog separate I'm sure.
