Pitbull 05 is on offer at tarty bikes! £300 + p+p... I was wondering which you guys think I should get.... Cheers lads  :S :P :P
Brian Bleech
alright dude, its horses for courses really they are both good frames and you won't go wrong with either. the ashton because its cheaper and save your parents some cash mike
trials_pimp
Depends what you want to do. Street, then the Ashton shines through. The Zoo is a good all rounder. Ive had both. Ashotn Lasted 1 year, then I cracked it 7 places. Zoo is going well after a year, and had no problems what so ever.
Littleharrys
ZOO!! H
Tony Harrison
This one should last longer as it has gussets added in the right places. Any aluminium frame will crack in the end... As for the Ashton frame, I'd say it (the new one anyway) is a good all rounder as well as the Zoo. If you want the forks I have a brand new pair with an un-cut steerer, never fitted to a bike that you can have for £50 (RRP £80).

rickycoleman
go for the ashton, i think its shorter. so you'll be able to do more moves on it, and thus enjoy it more, go for the streetyness, save money and support a british company! Waynio
support the british LEGEND! Ashton over zoo, i was having an interesting conversation with bucky yesterday and he was saying how his bike rode heavy and he didnt like it much this is an echo frame, yet when he has ridden other frames with what i would class as "trials specific geometry" better geometry than others and yes it purely is the more you pay the better quality you get cos the geometry suits the bike more. you cant make a poor geo'd bike ride fully to the potential...........id never ride a frame i hadnt ridden for a week or so prior to see if i could adapt to the geometry. the geometry adapts to me most of the time. :S Waynio.................. i had a go on a young lads ashton yest and his bars felt low but the bike still rode so sweet!!!! it was so different to the old one!!!!well worth only £264!!!!! James_Porter
zoo and echo frames are reduced on selectbikes now its personal choice really, ashton rides sweet but strength might be a downfall? zoo, bit longer so you might not get on with it as much but they are very strong. you have to ride both and decide for yourself. Mine with 2.5" Azonics rides spot-on. Front end comes up really easily and my wrists don't get done in if I land crap...
Mark W
I had a ride on Gav Bedford's Justice (gay slang, anyone? :bunny:) a while back and it felt pretty nice, and that was before they tweaked the geometry. It's a close call though. I'm starting to like the feel of longer bikes now, but the Ashton would probably be even nicer to ride now. Seeing as the Ashtons are cheap anyway, and the Echo and Zoo! frames are cheap from Tartybikes and Selectbikes now, it's all kinda tighter now too...
