fairy elephants
Well i paid £1200 for my insurance in my first year with tesco, did my pass plus about 1/2 way through that year, and they gave me £30 back, so that would be saving me £60 a year... thats 5% I was rather dissapointed with this to say the least, what with the course costing £120 in the first place, but decided that maybe i would save money on my second year (as i had been informed it would do by my instructor). I was never told at any point that you could only use pass plus once, untill i needed to re-new my insurance. All in all, doing the pass plus saved me £-90 It was a waste of time and money for me, so make sure you no you are actually going to save money before paying out to do the course. :)

fairy elephants
Yea, my mate got loads knocked off with them too... I dunno if it's because I only had it from 1/2 way through the year or something. did you have it when you took out the policy?

fairy elephants
I think that must be the difference then, because i took out my policy when i was learning, so i had a provisional for 6 months, then I had a Full UK license and pass plus, so i guess they dont think that i'm as gd at driving as i would be if i started with the pass plus. :)
Ali C
I also got my first car at 21, so they might have given me cheaper rates because I am older?
