PaRtZ
a normal one (Y) 1 1/8 . The cane creek one from tarty's pretty good value for money. For a bit extra he fitted it to the frame too
manxrider
ok, thanks t-pro not have a 1 1/8 headset then?
PaRtZ
they have odd internal headsets. Ive never had a T-pro but im guessing (from fork sizes) that it is a 1 1/8 headset. You'll need to buy a new one though to get the cups pressed into the frame
SQuiT-man
They are both 1 1/8 inch, but the zip takes a "regular" headset, whereas the t-pro's headset is an "internal" headset, bit different as the t-pro's one is partically built into the frame. IOLO
If you made the CNC'd parts out of steel, it would weigh approx. your house. y? im sure if the strengths of the two materials and of course the required amounts were considered, it would be ok.. i still say, it may look funky and interesting, but there is NOTHING wrong with two tubes welded to each other. (head tube) but i do like the way the maggy mount is kinda counter sunk,,
Mark W
y? im sure if the strengths of the two materials and of course the required amounts were considered, it would be ok.. It'd be far heavier than the alu version, due to the strength-weight ratio difference between alu and steel?
Mr Motivator
Erm, it sits on the back wheel better than any bike I've ridden other than Prawn's T-Rex...What are you on about???
Mark W
What are you on about??? Bump from the f**king grave Anyway, I was saying that my Zip sat on the back wheel better than any bike I've ever ridden, other than Prawn's old T-Rex, which felt really nice to...well...sit on the back wheel. If you don't get what I mean, would "It's more fun to do the backhops" make it make more sense? IT was just a figure of speech

mat hudson
i really really like that zenith, just looks the absolute tits. only little quibble are those cunting nasty stickers . apart from them its perfect, the finish is really cool too. not so fond of the gu look-alike but its still quite cool. but sireiousley, design some nicer graphics. The frames would be perfect with nice graphics!!!!
