Mark W
Hi. My name's Benito Ros, and I'm going to f**king sail up this massive spool/pallet stack/car/object. Nice to meet you. Nice vid, 'cept for the fast-forwardedness at the end...
trialsguru
will there be another vid with more 26" final stuff? id like to see much more of caisso and ohler (N)
JIX
Yeah I prefer the semi final vid just for the fact it has loads of cassio. Good vid felix, and a real shame about the jumpiness at the end.
Felix
will there be another vid with more 26" final stuff? id like to see much more of caisso and ohler :( Nope, I put all 26" stuff in the video. My camera ran out of power in the 26" final
Mark W
Can't believe they took out your rail-line!
JIX
Yeah I ment to say about that. Hahahaha I think its funny  They must have complained and got it removed or something. Im sure Felix could fill us in on why they removed it. Its probally just me on this one, but in the UCI comps the semi finals and final just seem to be big rather than technical. So its basically you either can do it, or you cant. So basically the most powerful will win. I like the qualifiying sections because they seem more technical. I know the comps are hard, its just to me they seem to lack something, Im not sure. Does anyone agree with me??
Mark W
There were tech parts in there, maybe Felix just put in the burlier bits? I mean, that bit with the logs sticking out the side of that object thing where they had to wheel-swap them was pretty tech... But it IS indoor, so it's not really surprising? The natural UCI rounds do seem ridiculously tech too though, having seen the videos from the last few years.
JIX
Yeah I wasnt really refering to this round actually. I really liked the sections in cologne. The last one in livingo, where they had to ride on those massive coloured cement things and stuff like that. I agree when its on natural its really tech, and I know there are tech parts, its just seems to me that alot of the sections are either u can or you cant, and there is only one way to do them. Rather than on natural there may be two or three different ways to get through. Im probally just in a funny mood. I dont know.
Mark W
I guess they've got to have some demanding sections liek that though just 'cos trials at that level is about going big too, not just technical riding. So I suppose there's gotta be a mix of tech/burly.
Tony Harrison
1st vincent 2nd belaey 3rd ohler (team onza) even though kenny came 2nd... he won graz and madrid... so that gave him enough points to win overall Vincent (team koxx) nicely showing that the same person on the same bike can win World series UCI and BIU events... Well done Vinny.
JIX
Yeah for sure, but it only seems to be tech in qualiying, and then burly for the final. Dont get me wrong as I know it takes great skill to do the big moves as well as power. Its just when you get only massive gaps to seprate the riders it seems a bit odd to me. And you get like kenny on 0 and vince on 1, its not really hard enough in my eyes. But then they are in a league of there own I suppose. But there seems to be nothing to seperate the riders out. You get the ones who can make the gap and the ones who cant. I think Im in a funny mood, so Im gona stop now, just a feeling I had. EDIT: Yeah a great point snappel and I think its good that he does both. Dont forget Savage, slinger and butler all do both to a high standard aswell. EDIT2: sorry just something else similar to this. At the NBR trial it was a similar thing I found. Although not a uci event, which would probally would have added the odd one or two dabs, my scores were either a 0 or a 5. So were many other peoples. I think maybe its just the nature of man made trials. Edited October 5, 2005 by JIX

Does anyone agree with me?? finals ALWAYS have the biggest moves.... qualification having the smalles sections... because the worlds top 8 dont have to ride the qualification... so they have a route to suit all... semi is a lil harder again with a little more danger involved... and the final has the biggest moves with the most danger
Felix
Yeah I ment to say about that. Hahahaha I think its funny :D They must have complained and got it removed or something. Im sure Felix could fill us in on why they removed it. They said the section was already long enough and it would take too much time if the had to ride over that rail. I agree with you JIX. The final sections usually are only big moves (Y) But even if the moves are mega huge, the best riders still do it. Have a look at some recent results. Benito never had more than a few dabs, no matter how crazy the sections were.
Luke Drewery
I have just watched the finals video and the footage is very good. I like it near the end where Vincent and Beleay are competing over who can tap the highest! (Vincent wins). I cant believe that benito hooked up that car from a static backhopping position!
