im using heatsink reds on a dead grind and they work well but running out of pad so im regrinding the rim and buying some koxx blues for the winter

you can get them at clean bikes there 18 pound for 2 or 30 pound for 4 they should be in stock,

get blues much better, the browns are too hard for my liking unless you grind the f**k out of your rim

hope this helps you mate

Haha you have a massive dent. :-

Erm, use Macro and take the photo further back, also hold them both uber still while you're taking them.

Your picture's jutt about useless.

The prototype Heatsink pads which are blue in colour, should be finalised uber soon, so I'd wait out for them. I've got a light grind now, it was harsh. And they're awesome on both. No tar in sight :P

I'm running koxx Red on a Onza Ronnie, amazing brake no slip nowe it's set up tight and i have a lot of air in my system currently but i'm stil ldoing 10ft drops and it's fine dude.

However there only a weekishold and have worn down far to much for my likeing. Probs only get 2 more weeks out of them.

Have loads of Coust pads on the way and have some Plaz to try again. Will also be trying some of me own again and Heatsinks

For those wondering how much it "costs" to get your rim ground, most of us on here do it ourselves, so it is free once you have bought an angle grinder (if you dont already have one in your garage, the ones for around £15 are perfect- you can get them even cheaper if you look around! Mine cost £15 for a 750W one with two diamond cutting blades). Im not sure bike shops would be happy grinding your rims harshly, but some may be fine with it.

Hope that helps,

Scott
