Nick Garland
Does anyone have a family member who doesn’t have access to ICT or does not want access to ICT, as I don’t I need an example for my coursework. If you could tell me how it affects their life I would be very thankful.
biketrialler
My grandma doesnt have access to IT - no computer, the only tech she has is her TV with 5 terrestrial channels. To get her information she has to watch the news or read the paper rather than see a website. To write a letter she has to physically get a pen, write it, stamp it, post it, rather than just send an email or instant message. To watch a movie she sees it on TV or rents it from the village shops, to get food she has to go to the shops rather than buy it online from tesco direct or whatever. Ps, Nick, what tutor do you have for ICT? The drunk american, or daavidd grant, or chris taylor, the woman that looks like Jon Lennon ? lol
Simon
Not sure if this is any use, its a PDF we got as part of a question that seems much like yours. http://public.xl-designs.com/CASE%20STUDY%20UNIT%204.pdf Sorry if you've already got it, if not, look at the contents, look for the "Factors effect interenet use" or something along those lines. Not sure if its of any use to you. :P
