Phatmike
Hey guys - I've just been experimenting recently with my SLR film camera with some B+W films. :D (Scanned in btw) Let me know what you think, if there's an image you really like, I can send you the full sized original. Taken using a Canon EOS 500, Ilford XP2 films, and a 35-80, and 80-300mm lenses. Mike; (Steve-a) (Matt Burrows) More to come. Rich Pearson
Some real nice pics there mike, hope you don't mind but I just had to have the last one for my desktop. The one of the dog is good too. Hope to see some more stuff soon. :D Rich
F-Stop Junkie
Very cool. I do love a good contrasty B+W image. The gap pic wasn't too great, it was just in B&W. I prefer to shoot in colour, then convert to B&W if I fancy. Plus with proper processing, you can really bring out a great B&W image. One small other point, most of these arn't trials, couldn't they have been linked to instead?
Mark W
Doesn't say trials on the tin so the tin doesn't have to...er...contain trials? Either way, they're all really nice. Nice to see some nicer "Arty" shots as opposed to "I took a picturemagraph of my bike and made it black and white and arty". Lovin' the slide one :D
Tomm
I'm getting all confused by Steve-A's bike. Are Pashley doing a 24" or something?
flipkickbs
I'm getting all confused by Steve-A's bike. Are Pashley doing a 24" or something? lol, nope, steve has bodged 24" wheels into it using a leeson booster as part of the brake mount, it works amazingly too! tipsy Jock
Looking good Mike :D You coming up for the next trials doodah up here?
Luke Drewery
Nice one, i really like those photos especially the ones of Steve A. The 24" pashley looks sweet!
Steve-A
Nice one Mike, some of those pictures look awesome. Not sure on a couple of them, like that one a of the fence ( just below me) but some others are awesome. To clear confusion, I'm riding a Pashley 26Ghz, which I've put 24" wheels in because thats all i have. It rides ok, but not as nice as a real 24" due to lack of BB rise. Though I still think its rides nicer than a normal 26Ghz. Pashley were awesome bout lending me one of Tims old frames which was waitng for refurbishing and giving back to tim, while I wait to get my Leeson back on the road. Rob_P
Very nice Mike. I think black and white has to be my favourite format really. I like colour mostly and thats what I present my images in mostly 80% of the time but now I have rolled off 2 films on my slr recently I will have to get them printed and try some black and white film. Chris- I think it's a good thing that he put them all together, I would think that people like to see something different from the norm as well as the usual trials photos. If they were lnked then people would only be clicking them to find out what they were anyway. Mike- Loving the waterfall one, log, close up of the jumper and my favourite of all, the curving tube!! Keep it up Rob :) :)
