dozza
Basically i am looking for suggestions for the rim as opposed to rim/spokes/hub because i have riding connections in America so will buy a steel shell chris king cos itll be only 150 quid. Im currently running a ditch witch rim with a terrible cannondale fire disc hub which came stock on my chase 3 (which is what i use for trials). running 26" with a 2.5 wide tyre. A couple options would be good - one mid budget and one deluxe high budget. Cheers lads
Ash-Kennard
If your wheel is still working then wait for the new hope pro2 trials hub and just an average mavic rim. It will be TDB. ash. EDIT: Sorry TDB means The Dogs Bollocks. Edited September 25, 2005 by ash-kennard

Ash-Kennard
get an echo rim, there strong as f***k! (Y) The new one? Or the one with the nasty square cut-outs?
Simpson
Ive got a 2nd hand ronnie and given a lot of abuse, dented 2 fcuk but going strong, (touch wood) The upper class would be a VIZ rim e.t.c.
Siders77
The upper class would be a VIZ rim e.t.c. I don't know what planet you're from but I wouldn't touch a V!Z rim with a 10ft Barge Pole. I'd much rather have a Ronnie. (Y)
ian
ive ridden with a ronnie, the new echo cnc rim, and a viz rim and i can tell you the worst rim of all wasthe ronnie cause it just kept denting etc, my echo rim had a flat spot within 2 weeks and my viz rim is still going strong after like 3 months. and yes i built the wheels myself then had them tweaked by a professional wheel builder each time
