Whiteboy
ok well ive been looking around. and need a cassete. under 20 quid. and under 7 speed prefably. but all the cassetes i found dont have a 18t cog which is which i ride with. im looking for the cassete to have like its highest cog hitting a 20t but still include a 17t and 18t cog. anyone help? anyone know anywhere that seels them? cheers. Tom Booth
you could buy one and add your 18 tooth to it, and make it 7 speed or less using spacers. Tom

JIX
I am running a split road cassette with a gusset 18t sprocket on my alu king and its fine. I have just upgraded to a steel drive shell but on the old alu one it was fine. You will be hard pushed to find a cassette with the size you want, unless its a normal mtb one. All the road cassettes I looked at went 19t - 17t. Just split and make a custom one. This way you can make the biggest sprocket 19t so you can still have the chain the perfect length. The Dude
getting a road casstte is deffinately your best bet. Shimano 105 are pretty good. as for riding 18t, dont worry too much if its not exactly the same because you just kick a little harder/softer for what your doing. i.e 19t for static gap, 17t for rolling. i went from 21t to 15t and loved it, just get so much raw power out of it. or could get a 20t and see how that goes.
