batesie
After having my HT Trial stolen in March 2000, i've finally got it replaced after finding a frame 4 weeks ago. Its all starting to come back to me now but still very rusty after 5 years and no trials practice. So heres some pics of my bike. Special thanks to AndyRoo and LukeTrials/Lukio ;-) cheers guys. batesie
Cheers guys :S well ive been looking for a frame for about a year to get back and do it old skool, never got on with the kids sized :) 20'' trials bike but hey. (ive never had an issue with strength with this frame, dropped off 5' walls many times without any breakages.) ive been doing bespoke custom mountain bikes jump/CC/DH to order, mostly from people that want old skool rigs and now ive done one for myself. PM me if anyone want to find out more. so as soon as i get a 8spd cassette i'll be off to do some flatland/urban trials and pick up from where i left off from ;-)

Petr Kraus used to ride Heavy Tools frames better than you or i ever will ride these super long seatless machines. Tool. On the bike side of things , your bike looks lush! The frame looks brand spanking new! (Y)

(Y) I'm a tool for not liking his bike? f**k about. (Y) No you are a tool because you just have to tell everyone theres a bikes pics thread when its quite obvious no one gives a shit. The lad just wants to show his new bike off. Not everyone reads every single rule about posting or searchs through thousands of posts just incase a thread similar to theirs might already be up. Its trials forum not trials datebase. Get the stick out your arse and stop whining like a little bitch about people talking on a forum. Nice bike well done etc etc.

Well, not trying, you are. You lot seem to try and pick arguements with anything just for the shits and giggles, and possible getting off, i don't know, but honestly, get f**ked. Lukeee
Used to, be being the key words here. I'm a tool for not liking his bike? f**k about. (Y) My point is , Petr Kraus still could pick up any Heavy Tools bike and ride it better than you or i ever will ride any bike.
Trebor
But does that mean jack? Just because some Pro could ride a particular frame better than you or me or whoever doesn't take away the fact that it's a poor frame, surely if Petr Kraus doesn't ride it anymore means that it must be bad (Y) Still though, regardless of whoever being able to ride it, there are many more frames available that will ride better than the heavy tools. and they don't necessarily have to be long low and silver - Simon made a valid point and it didn't require your usual crew (i.e. Anal and/or DLB) of posters to come into a thread to 'cyberbully' (cracking word) him. You guys always do this, you seem to think you're better than than the person you're trying to have a go at but it seems pretty pathetic that three guys come on the forum solely to pick on people. That's my interpretation of it all at least . . . At the end of the day though, it's the guys decision, but making a bike with a comparitvely shitty frame for nostalgia purposes does seem a tad silly, good on the guy for coming back into trials though (Y) Edit: Regarding the bike pictures thread, it is there for a reason, so what's the problem with someone telling him about it - it's not as though he even enforced it as such. And if this bike had been posted in there with a link to a comments page (edit 2: the gallery's down so that wouldn't happen, still though he could ask people to PM him comments if he cared that much) it'd be practically the same as this topic, just out of the way. It's hardly much effort to do and it doesn't clog the forum up, hell, at least it'd stop bitch fights like this. Even if the guy has been out of the scene for a while, I know if I was a mod I'd close this without even thinking, the topics there - use it? But hey, it's not my forum and I'm not here that often so it's no skin off my nose. But it's hardly a huge request, and it's there, nice and clear, at the top of the page. br3n
I cracked mine after 4 months got a replacement and did same within 2 weeks... bad frames (Y) Was a learner too - so nothing harsh on it.
batesie
mmm, well as far as i'm concerned this required its own thread to show how ive got this far thanks to this forum, other bike riders, and thanks to a couple of members on this forum that helped with the sourcing of parts and ideas. (Y) (Y) and this thread has been posted in the "sites vids and pics" area so maybe it needs to be renamed if ive got it wrong. (Y) so thanks is due and my appreciation goes to the forum. and a forum only exsists because of its members. not the admin or mods, theyre just there to lock threads and state their authority now and then.
