F-Stop Junkie
If you strip and laquer a steel frame, you won't get shiney, you'll get dull, kinda orange and with marks from the welds. If you want an alloy look, you'll need to chrome, paint, or powder coat.
poopipe
1. Will one tube of autsol (toothpaste tube size) be enough to polish up an entire frame? 4.Seeing as raw steel is much darker than raw alu, will the autosol always give the same mirror like finish no matter the material of the frame? 1 . probably - i did my bmx and had enough left for my forks . it takes bloody ages though 4. it didnt change the colour of the chrome on my frame but it made it much shinier. I reckon itll look lovely on bare metal.
