Bolts For A Booster

random

Recommended Posts

Okay just looked on Tartybikes they do bolts for 4 bolt thats are 45mm long. I'm guessing 45mm is normal length...

So say 14mm for my spacers to clear the mag mounts

Then 3mm for my XTR booster

62mm more than likely to get a 60mm bolt

Does that sound right, getting 4x60mm long bolts to use to hold my booster, spacers and moutns down on my Coust??

I don't really get how you magicked that number out of thin air there :)

The 45mm includes the depth of a booster, the depth of a spacer, and the depth of the clamps themselves, and then some to get into the threads themselves. I'm running a 2-bolt booster, and I've just got the regular 45mm bolts, and it's fine. That's with an Echo Team booster, by the way. I know it's not the same 2-bolt booster idea that you've got, but seriously - 45mm is enough.

You have got 4-bolt mounts on your frame, haven't you?

I made the number up a si though Dave & Tarty listed 45mm as just clamps being mounted. Blond moment.

Okay i'll go for 50's, my mounts are deep and yes there 4 bolt.

I have a tons of bolts, spacers, washers, nuts but i havent said anyhting about where to go and get them Paul. The deeper fact could be i want new ones and i only have sued stuff and even deeper is i live 2 hours normal drive away from my old shop, it then an extra 2 hours on top to get to the next. i have said i have given up on the game...

Anyways cheers for you help Mark n close this bitching is starting i thinks
