emery
On my crank everytime i tighten it up it comes loose again and I have lost the bnit that goes with the bolt. I don't know how to explain it as it's the bit that when you do up your bolt you should have no space round it like a cao but not an all over cap.Anyways I've lost this this may be the reason for the crank coming unloose but could there bew anyother way , eg. the bb is threaded toby :)
aff1e
put some locktite or super glue on the bolt and tighten it :)
am4zin
i had that problem on my old specialized hardrock when i had the cranks replaced after a car accident. i took it back to the guy at the bike shop who made the repairs and he said i should expect that :) i sorted out the problem by buying a new bike :D
Mc Lovin
You wont be able to undo it if you use glue.....never. :)
mink
Sounds like your crank is knackered. Cranks fit on tapers and once they come loose the cranks deform, then they will come loose for ever. The bit around the bolt is just a plastic cover, it doesn't make any difference if it's there or not.
