Dan6061
At the moment i'm running an onza t-pro wheel with an 18t ACS Claw freewheel, with These cranks. I've been offered a Profile wheel build (koxx rim, with 12t fixed cog) for £120 (not mentioning names :P" ) I was wondering if there is any chance on buying an 18t fixed cog for the hub, or would I just have to get some front freewheel cranks and run my ACS on them? (would get these cranks) I should hopefully have enough for the cranks when I get payed ;) Cheers, P.S. Sorry if this is a dumb question, I'm rather useless... :) Edited September 19, 2005 by Dan6061
Siders77
You need a fixed cog on the front because it's just like having a freewheel on the back with a Profile. Just get a fixed sprocket for the front from TartyBikes/SelectBikes etc... :) Edited September 19, 2005 by Siders77
Dan6061
ok, cheers siders :) Would it still work ok if ui used my acs on the front? Edited September 19, 2005 by Dan6061
Siders77
Only if you weld it up so that it doesn't spin. :)
nb88
Cant have your freewheel on the front, you need a fixed cog. The first cranks you mentioned would work as theyre fixed but it would be a very high gear, so get the second cranks you mentioned and a 18t screw on cog. Mr Motivator
Hmm, if I were you, I'd keep the onza wheel and just get a better front freewheel like an eno. It would be cheaper anyway. The fixed onza hub isn't half bad :) But, yeah, if you did get the wheel you'd have to replace the front freewheel with a fixed screw on sprocket. Dan6061
Hmm..thinkin' about what sam said.. Not sure if it is a T-Pro wheel, its just an onza un-sealed hub with a standard Onza rim.. Might keep it though.. :) Topic can be closed now ;)
