He wants a bike no bigger then a 1060/65 wb and something that will ride nicely on natural. Please post your opinions so i can pass them on. Especially if you have ridden both or one of them and have a valid comment to make on it. Thanks.

i have a bt sitting right next to me, carnt ride it cuz i have no cranks, but ill tell you based on looks/quality alone, the BT is a mad impressive frame... im not impressed with the zoo much, ive ridden a few of them, never liked tha way any of them rode :

I would realy recomend the BT raven 6, i have the 1100 version and every one who has ridden it has loved it, i have a feeling that if u bought the 1065 version it would ride as if it were abit shorter, i am not sure, as the BB rise on frames make them feel shorter than they actualy are, as long as u use a stem that would compensate for the BB rise it will feel VERY good, i am running a koxx 130mm 20deg stem, and i feel it is the perfect geo for this frame.

I agree with Elan on the Zoo's, i have never ridden one that i have thought rode nice at all, thya always seem to feel very crampt, even on the 1090 version, as they have a very slack headangle which brings the bars too far back for my liking.

Try and get a ride on both, see what u prefer, but i would strongly recomen the BT.

Thanks guys! ... looks like the BT will be the go.

So bb rise has effect of making it feel shorter.. in that case as the BT has 50mm rise (i thinks!) then it might be just the ticket for him.

Any preferences for bar stem setup that as "Bigman" put it... compensates for bb rise?? Without making it feel too long.

Cheers all (Y)

this is a toughy, both bikes are ugly (though I have seen some pretty nice pitbulls)

I have had a go on both but I only did basic stuff so I cant comment on how they rode.

If I had to choose one I would go for the pitbull. I like a little bit of bb rise, the bt either has no rise, or super high rise (which I hate with a passion!). The pitbull has 20cm of rise I think, purfect.
