emery
Today I tried to take the pedals off my t-lite but a mate told me it was cross threaded. I understand this. Will I be able to put any other pedals on my cranks or are they buggered. toby :'(
JT!
You culd probably get it tapped out (re thredded) by your local garage. But someone will confirm that. I find if you try putting it in applying pressure in different directions, sometimes they go in right. But it's trial and error in what direction you have to push it. Edited September 17, 2005 by JT! Ash-Kennard
Don't risk it mate. Don't want to cross thread a second pair of cranks. Pedals are cheap anyway. ash.
JT!
Ok i'm planning on getting some new cranks but would the pedal be ok Well, just look at the threds, then see which is damaged. Most likely be the cranks, and chances are the pedal threds will be fine.
