lewis
i want a really powerfull rear disk brake, and mi mate has one and works really well, but im gunna get one of the babes for the front aswell! :D
Such
Overkill all the way! NO, the biggest rotor you can put on kot ms2 frame is 180mm one
Tony Harrison
Ian Cooper's got a 6-pot on the front and hates it. Temperamental, and you certainly can't risk that on the back. It'll be alright to start with (like my mates C2 wavy) and then it'll go downhill...
manuel
get a 180 mono trial - but why a disc for the back ??? better for trials - the six pot is all about the heat build up DH super powering stuff where as the trial will be lighter and lock better...... and probs cheaper ??? James Quigley
I think that the KOT frames have a +20 rear disc mount, so a 160 caliper will need a 180 rotor. Don't hold me to this though, speak to Dave or Adam at Tartybikes, they'll be able to tell you what you can and cant do.
Davetrials
180 avid beast.

Don't hold me to this though, speak to Dave or Adam at Tartybikes, they'll be able to tell you what you can and cant do. ← Thats right - however you can fit a rear Mono Trial caliper and a +20 adaptor in the frame, meaning a 200mm Mono Trial rear brake could be used! the biggest rotor you can put on kot ms2 frame is 180mm one See above :) 180 avid beast. ← Avid calipers won't fit inside the frame unfortunately. Hope thats of use :) Ads
