TomR
Im buying my dads old 2002 astra DTI, which is a 2 litre, but im only 19 with zero no claims, and good insurers? ive been to AA, Churchill, Tesco, Direct line and Norwich union, and im already with Admiral so i need to ring them. Gonna try adrian flux now, any more?
Danny
No chance basically. AA are good and generally fully comp is cheaper than 3rd party for some strange reason. For a 998 mini full comp was about £100 cheaper than 3rd party. Same goes for a mates focus and golf. So give them a try.

Tony Harrison
If you've got a 2.0 Astra DTI, don't insure it TPFT... my mate insured his Sierra Cosworth TPFT having spent £8000 on it, and then put it into a lamp-post... andyroo
It would cheaper to put your mum on as main driver, then add yourself to it than it would be to have just you as the main driver. nationwide are pretty decent too
munkee
Easiest way is to just get your mom or dad to have it under thier name and put you on as a named driver as said earlier. You wont be getting no claims bonus though so you mase well buy some absalute bag of shite car and get it insured under your name and just leave it somewhere so you get your no claims. TomR
Im insuring this as my car on my own policy, im not going under my mum or dads name, and ive got no space to put a wreck of a car. All i want is some company names and websites, not personal advice :-
