Just like to say how much we "local" boys enjoyed our first comp at Fort William on Saturday. I have ridden a Monty for a few years (normally ride Motorcycle Trials on a 125 Sherco). I was second in the Rookie class and my pal Graham Hendry was third. We thought it was brill!

I hear that the local Fort William M/C club members are keen to get some Bike Trials there again. Guy called Kevin Dignan is hoping to get things moving.

Thanks to the organisers for a great days sport.

Best wishes,

Yip "Chap" has gone back to school after lunch, my turn for the computer now!

Great weekend at Fort William, lots of fun for the boys.

Can't remember the 1st Place "Rookie", but it was Tom "Somebody"

2nd Place was David Moffat, Culloden - Monty X-Lite

3rd was Graham Hendry, Culloden - Monty

Good to see some of the boys down from Isle of Skye, Gordon McPhee on a 26" Pashley bike and some of the other lads having a go from Inverness, can't remember all their names, Chap could tell you them. Some of them entered the Inters which was too ambitious for guys riding their first comp I think.

Cheers...

Big John

ye tom is the lad from wales cant rememebr his last name, hes a kool guy though.

wa a great comp as you lads have already said, it would be nice to see that a club or some kind of competitions start purely from the organisation of the one held at the weeekend. it just goes to show that all the hard work of other people will then give or inspire others to do something of the similar nature.

johnstone...

was a great weekend and good to see so many riders from across the country. the only thing that i disliked was the difference between rookie and inter, inter would have killed me and i doubt i would have finished a single section but rookie was a tad easy. ah well it was a great weekend none the less...

Hey Tom, I totally agree with you 100% there was a big leap from Rookie to Inter... Inter was solid as f*ck for me, done it anyways and it was a great laugh although if I done Rookie Tom me and you would have been battling it out to get first place :-

Need to catch up with you sometime again... you where a top gezzer (N) :-

Sorry guys, its down to the moderator of a site to decide how fast you qualify.

I'm more used to posting an a motorcycle trials website, but done plenty of it.

Keep it cool and keep the swear words down to a minimum, they really prove nowt!

It really doesn't do the sport any good when outsiders have a peek in here.

Keep on ridin'

Big John

(Too old for a Bike Trial now, I leave it to the young folks! - unless they start a decrepid class!)
