Brian Bleech
I dunno how many of you have seen them, but the videos of the x games are on expn.com. There is some pretty crazy shizzle... be sure to check out Scotty Cranmers silver medal run (front flip turndown on the step up) Ryan Nyquists Bronze Medal run (off axis 720) Jamie Bestwicks Gold medal vert run and best trick (double tailwhip flair) and loads of other stuff http://expn.go.com/expn/feature?name=sx11video
poopipe
Anyone else think Scotty Cranmer deserved the gold there? He was more consistent generally, pulled that icepick that Mirra missed and then of course there was the frontflip. congrats to Jamie Bestwick, proper homegrown talent that. Brian Bleech
I'm no expert but from what i saw i'd have to agree with you. ← mirrra fell too, yeah i think it ws close but cranmer just about edged it. he did most of the tricks mirra did as well. mike
Jonny Jones
Trick wise Scotty deserved it. But, bearing in mind Merra had like an hour or less practice time compared to all the other riders, he did pretty well! You've just gotta listen to what the commentators are saying, well impressive! (Y) Nice find, ill be looking on that site more often. J.
trialsguru
yer but it doesnt matter how much practise you have its what your run is like, otherwise theres no point in the comp, you might aswell turn up 5 mins before and ride really crap and say " oh ive not practise my run but i still landed a bar spin!" in my opinion cranmer deserved the win, maybe the judges scores were swayed because of mirras status? RicH_87
maybe the judges scores were swayed because of mirras status? ← or maybe he said "lemme win and you can touch my gold plated downtube" (Y) EDIT: oh and no inline vert??? Edited September 12, 2005 by RicH_87
Scotty Evil1
I'm no expert but from what i saw i'd have to agree with you. ← Me too, his run was :- (N) front flip turn down near enough straight away, wtf btw, does anyone know how old he is??? deagledaddy
Cramner definately deserved the win. The only thing i can think that did it for Mirra was the sick tailwhip into the 1/4 on the box (in that he jumped it the wrong way) . Cramner did double whip the right way as styleee as mirra then into a corkscrew..!!! mental Front flip is inventive too!
