earsy104
hey there and welcome mate glad to see more people getting involved in such an amazing sport also i only started trials a couple of weeks ago i just practiced balancing mostly then shifting my weight over different parts of the bike and stuff the first couple of days or weeks are quite boring but after you have done that start trying to hold your bike in the air and shift your weight forwards to hop and then start trying to do it down kirbs and blocks and stuff iam probably not the best person on here to talk to for advice but hey who cares.... <_< hope all goes well.......... fairy elephants
When your first getting started it won't really matter what bike you have. Most of the guys on here that started "back in the day" would have had a real tank of a first bike. The jackflash will be an alright starter bike <_< When your getting started you just progress at your own rate. If you have other people to ride with, then copy their techniques, and it will help you learn quicker. Also watching video's and trying to copy what people are doing in the video's will help  This forum has a very good vids section, which is always getting new footage put up :ermm: remember to have fun. We all ride for that reason, otherwise there is no point in doing it :S good luck :(

flipkickbs
Once you've got your basic technique down, don't be scared of anything! always push yourself to try better, more challenging things. Soon the things that at first seemed impossible will seem easy, and it keeps going like that, good luck learning, and have fun!!! Simpson
Few deep tips, There are no limits whats to say you cant go a cm further so whats to say you cant go a metre further? If some one say you cant do it, slyly go there on your own nail it so next time they say it you say ok..... ill give it a go BOOM done, that wasnt hard, And most simply if your not injured ride! Welcombe (sp?) hope your a safe as your mate
