the_ferret
basically i'm stuck at the moment when it comes to getting up things. i have a t-rex but running muscleman cranks on it from my t-pro would a full rotation for a wheelie hop help as i only do half a rotation? also if anyone could suggest some front freewheel cranks that are longer and not likely to snap it would be appreciated thanks oggy
Janson
full rotation does help. if you're talking about a pedal up thingy.. i go 3/4 most of the time, first quarter stroke starting bad foot up, when pedals are level the front wheel should be lifted, then you have half a stroke to lift the front wheel higher and hop up. tensile are good front freewheel cranks, avaliable in 175mm length if you want. they seem to be pretty good. i like my 175's. nafan
I am running onza t-bird cranks and they haven't snapped yet, and recently I've been doing some 3-4 foot drop-offs... However I am planning on getting some kooka musclemans, they appear to be quite strong... Freewheel too Check out www.bikedock.com - £36 :P :D
JT!
Full rotation for me, do the first 3/4 slow and really kick on the last 1/4. :P

Andy Vox
I was doing half a pedal for ages and i just couldnt get above bar height with them. Then last week tim steadman helped me with the full pedal stroke technique, as i was unaware it existed. It took a day of practice to get it feeling right but it payed off as the day after tim showed me i was doing a good 6inches above bar and it feels much smoother and easier. Be persistant, learn them and at the end of it, it will all be worth it. As for cranks, i dont know. (Y) Edit. Try front touching aswel been as the t-rex is a beast.
