Trials mama
tis a bit of a hi rise stem for that style of bike, when i had my rex i was runnin a titec 3D rip stem, 10 degree rise and that was loverly, just try experimenting eddy
Simpson
Just see how it goes, dont base how you feel on 1 day of riding you may have slept funny or something! i cant see how it would affect your back too much unless your back was twisting or streaching! shovel
when i went from a giant martin hawyes to a toxsin #1 when cycling along i felt a lot more over the front of the bike and it did feel a bit weird on my hands and back, but after a few rides on it i got used to it as you will probably do too
poopipe
Is it at the bottom of your neck? I had a try-all stem and flat bars on my old mod and used to get a sort of warm pain in the bottom of my neck after riding for a while. I think it was because the stem/bar combo was so low and I was having to tip my head a long way back to see forwards. When I got my t-pro with its funky highrise stem the neck pain magically went away. maybe try some spacers or riser bars ?
Damon W
dont worry about it its just that the bikes longer so youre weight is spead more evenly on the bike and youre torso is more horizontal than before so when youre riding from place to place you have to tilt youre head back further to see where youre going, i had the same problem when i moved from my base ta26 to my trex.
