Bionic Balls
welcome :ermm: Nice try  ...but i'm not falling over to get one. Someone take some links out of that chain before it slaps off....and make it look "trialsy" >_< I do like the colour though... adam
Jonny Jones
Could be a great beginners bike, up there with DB etc. Not a fan to be honest, even if they did bring it out as frame only. J.
Mr Motivator
For a cheap begginer trials bike, yeah that looks cool. For a 'trials' bike that looks terrible. Pass.
TomN
Looks ok I think, be better if if put a roadie seat instead, a nice Fresh tensioner, some burns/tensile and change bar and stem and it should be reeto.

Lukeee
I very much doubt Chris Ackrigg had annything to do with the frame design on that. Simpley because i was told about Mongoose's interest in making a complete trials bike well over a year ago. Its designed to retail about £350-450 From what i can tell Hotwheels have choose not to bring it in either...

Tony Harrison
Hans Rey?! Do you know, the thing that ALWAYS stands out to me is the chain length, as if some idiot hasn't bothered to shorten the chain. Too used to triple chainsets I suppose, and factory workers aren't exactly employed for their initiative... Either way, it's obviously not designed to compete with top end trials frames, it's more like the Base and MAD stuff. People will buy it I'm sure. Mark W
Well, not *many* trials riders do. 407mm chainstays seem a bit...er...long? 'cos beginners would surely want a bike that was easy to get on the back wheel and quite nimble 'cos they're not going to have the finesse to be able to backhop and so on straight off, so having 3/4mile long stays on is a little excessive? colly
i think akrigg will be riding a signature model, mongoose should be able to sell them easier if it had the chris akrigg signature bike wrote on it, so surely therl be a proper bike that is wank >_<
Brian Bleech
Well, not *many* trials riders do. 407mm chainstays seem a bit...er...long? 'cos beginners would surely want a bike that was easy to get on the back wheel and quite nimble 'cos they're not going to have the finesse to be able to backhop and so on straight off, so having 3/4mile long stays on is a little excessive? ← thats the thing that jumped out to, the rest of the bike seems absolutly fine, especially for a noob. - good avid vees are way better than the cheap shit vee that most starter bikes have. - nice close range roadie cassette, with a short cage mech - trutative cranks, with a 22T - alot of cheap bikes come with 32/22 combo - decent rims and tires - and things like 31.8 bar and cromo lower headset cup, show they have tried to make it strong too. unfortunately the chainstay length ruins what would be a great starter bike >_<

Andy Vox
Can i get a shhhh-ite! Aren't beginner bikes meant to make people want to get into the sport not turn them off it. That looks like it wud ride gastly, could be wrong, but am probably right! >_<
Simpson
Yea i dont like how it looks, but again a cheap bike that gets people into trials im all for it.
Brian Bleech
Is that what Akrigg rides? ← at first akrigg was riding a gt hans rey frame, he was also playing with a 2004 zoo pitbull 1060 to get ideas, i dunno what he is on now
Bucky
was out in skipton a few weeks back with him and he was on some sort of mongoose full build with single speed. (and he was doing trials on it as well as stair jumps and grinds)
Danny
mount for shifter on downtube, someone's thinking.... ← No idea what that is but it isnt a shifter. Count the 3 cables coming from the bars and the sram twist shift listed in the spec. >_<
