Mark W
It'd probably be wise to ride with your feet as far out on the pedals as possible, so when the spindle breaks you don't get a huge gash down the inside of your leg from the jagged end of it >_< That, or just buy the decent FSA Bb's
Endohopper
Yet another FSA horror story . I hear nothing but bad things about their BBs , and I don't feel inclined to ever try one . I'll stick with Shimano's Octalink , thanks .
James_Porter
fsa bb's are shit, i hate the things, had nothing but problems with them. the one i got on now is bent/twisted to toss and its sposed to be a DH one and it isnt my cranks before some nob ed says. truvative all the way, have to wait till pay day to replace mine though >_<

Tomm
Thing is though, Race Face ISIS BBs are shit and expensive, truvative ones are heavy (I think >_< ) and now you're saying FSA ones are shit too? I had no probs with my FSA which I ran for over a year.
SebJT
Ive had that bottom braket for over 2 years and its till fine. I am quite smooth but i still go fairly big. Meh i've never broken a bb anyway, i dont see how people do it... Seb
JT!
My FSA BB came out of my bike in 3 seporate peices yesterday. >_<"
Mr Motivator
Hmm well I might get annother one then. My one has been in an XTP, a Control and a toxsin. Hmm lol. Meh, it was free! Cheers Gaz >_<
PaRtZ
What are FSA like for other stuff? I thought their cranks were ok >_< To do that to a BB on a road bike though is so odd to be honest. What was the rider doing? Stair drops?
Mr Motivator
Yeah FSA do some good stuff, like the headsets. I have an orbit XLII and it's amazing, I'd never have a hope or king, its just a waist. The XLII is ally so nice n light, has sealed bearings, comes in many colours, light, strong, affordable at 30odd quid!
N.Wood
Not to sound like a 'tard, but the dude riding that could be a beast of a man doing some serious road riding, with legs the size of tree trunks practising his starts on a track bike... dave85
Equally it could've been one BB from a batch made wrongly, and they've rectified the problem. That page is at least two years old from what i remember :-
PaRtZ
Dave how long have you been a senior? :- Actually thinking about it, Im guessing the bad batch idea is more likely. It still shouldn't really happen often if everything is robotically manufactured these days... Thats the way i see it anyway :S
