You intend to replace the casette ? May I suggest a road casette , with smaller gearing . Having found your ideal front chainring size , the small steps of a road casette will allow you fine tuned variations without the weight of a conventional MTB casette .

Or even go single speed if you dont really want/use gears.

I think the seat looks nice and that, just doesnt look like it will fit on the bike properly without catching on the tyre.

Sooooo, try clampoing the end bit of the rail of the seat so its as far forward as possible and give it a slight angle/ that direction.

That way youll give it a lot more clearance and aswell as performing better will look nicer too >_<

Thanks alot guys, it rides so lovely. The cranks are holzfeller urbans which I agree aren't the best for trials but they're stiff and strong, its just that they're heavy. I will eventually change them but for now I'm leaving them as they are. :-
