flipkickbs
As in the description, how do i get rid of flat spots in my rim? its not a major one, but quite noticable, is there any way of doing it without loosening off the spokes and beating the hell out of it with a hammer? Cheers
Lawnmowerman
Nope, only the way you described
flipkickbs
My echo rim looks all nice though :ermm: (<<<fashion over function right there). so i need to just loosen the spokes around the flatspotted area, then hit the flatspot? Lawnmowerman
beeter off loosening all the spokes in your wheel and taking the spokes out where the flat spot is then hit it with a rubber mallet
Littleharrys
To be honest its prob not worth the hassle. Cos if you hit it in the wrong place you will ruin the rim completely. Don't hit it with a hammer or anything metal cos you may crack the rim. If your gonna take all the spokes out anyway, thats basically a wheel build. You might as well get a lovely new rim and build it in? Upto you man. H

flipkickbs
Yea, ill get mike to build me a new one, no doubt there will be some sort of charge involved, even though i supplied him with awesome toastie sandwich material last time he was round, iv heard BMF rims are pretty strong even when drilled so that could be an option, cheers :)
