Ti-rouX
I'm planning to buy a bar of TAR. The dimensions are 50mm x 75 mm x 40 mm and my question is : how many time can I do with it ? I also saw some people doing sandblast on their rims, does it stay long enough ? THX :ermm:
random
Thats a Plazmatic coating you twit. If you had read the post where you pulled that pic form it tells you a lot. You'd be better off with superglue (CA) or a fast setting epoxy.
picki
thats not a proper plazzy coating though..... did you read it all on otn? its a hoe made jobber

Probs the most expensive manual ever if you were too ← That's funny, my Konigs have lasted for ages? Wore down about 2mm or so, then just sorta sorted their shit out, and haven't worn much since, really. If it's rim coating and not pad dust, why would that make the Heatsink pads shit, Pete? Simpson
you know if you rub sand on you arm it will graze cos of it brittleness, fire that out of a nozzle it will remove rust from cars by getting down to the lower layer. Ti-rouX
it's one of my mate who showed me this pics !, he didn't tell me where he picked the pics.., maybe you could send me the link ? and what's this superglue (CA) or a fast setting epoxy ??, does it work better than tar ? and how long will a bar a tar last ?
Mark W
and how long will a bar a tar last ? ← Ages. It really will. Just put a few stripes of it on each side of the rim, drag the brake a bit, wait for the "EEEEEEEERRRRRKKKKKKKKK" and then you're good to go. Just don't lose the tar. Like I do. Every time. Simpson
its just like a pencil draw a thickish line all of the way round the rim, just find a peice will last you months.
An_toin3
You'd be better off with superglue (CA) or a fast setting epoxy. ← superglue (CA) or a fast setting epoxy. : What is that ? can someone tell me please (Y)"
Mark W
superglue (CA) or a fast setting epoxy. : What is that ? can someone tell me please >_<" ← Superglue is superglue, and an epoxy resin is just a glue where you mix two chemicals together, then apply it. I don't know why you'd need to use either of them, in any context to do with a brake unless it was to like glue your pads back into the backing? Either way, they wouldn't do anything to help you brake.
