SuperDeathMonkey
Just got same brand new forks today and pot them on. My steering however is fairly stiff, i can still turn quite easily but I dont like the current stiffness What sort of Grease/Lube should I use on the forks and where can I get it from?? Endohopper
Are you certain the crown race is seated all the way down on the steerer tube ? Ensure the headset isn't overtightened , too and as you suggested grease would be a good idea , consult an LBS .
JT!
Make sure you haven't screwed the bolt down too tight aswell.

Bergia
Also check that no bottom bit is out like on Pig headsets at the bottom theres this plastic ring i caught it out of place and i wondered why the turning changed.
andyzplace
Any grease will do really. if your using an fsa pig/uf headset make sure you have the upper barings in the correct way (i know some of the instructions, especially with old ones, were faulty)
