weewillywinky
i was wondering what a hope mono trial disc would be like for the front, is it as nice as a well set up avid mechanical, i know my mates mono mini is a bit buggered and i've been told that once they brake they are broke but i'm not sure as it is a different brake. got any reviews on them. thanks. tomtrials
Hey dude ye there are alot better than just the mono mini due to more stopping power dude t the more powerful caliper. I use to run a really well set up avid and it was so awesome but hardly any modulation in the brake, the avid is brilliant for the money but i would go for the mono trials if you can afford it man. hope that helped tom :P
weewillywinky
cheers pal, just thought it would be better to get the word off someone who has experienced the wonder rather than word on the street. thanks :P :D
N.Wood
My Avid feels nicer than any Hope i've felt. Hopes have a nice amount of power, but an on/off feel. I say go for the Avid, but it's not like you can go far wrong with a Mono Trials...
Si-man
Got a hope trial on the front (180mm, mod) and its the best brake ever, even though one of the caliper bolts just fell out when i was walking home (Y)
