Siders77
I just used a Bike Box. It was plenty big enough. :P I don't think they'll take it if it's just bubble wrapped. Just go to your LBS and get a bike box. :D
Lawnmowerman
Go to a bike shop and get a box, then cut it up to size, wrap up, put the address on then take it to postie. Do it all in one go :P
totaltrials
Go to halfords, steal :P" a bike box which they chuck out, modify the box slightly to make it smaller, so it passes for an acceptable size. You can send it by Royal mail, standard parcel (3-5 days About £10) or Parcel force next day £17 or 48 hours £13, they will also pick it up from your door. Phil. Dan6061
If you do get a box from Halfords, ask them for one from a 20" bike or a kids bike etc. They're always big enough for a frame to fit it, and are small enough for an acceptable size. :P
Michael Hardman
Keeping the oriinal box helps.
Trebor
Get the boxes which never get used any more, and some scissors, start with the rear triangle, then do the top-tubes and down-tubes and work your way to the bottom bracket/seat tube. Lots of tape is required, and if you can, get someone to help you, I'd imagine it saves 1/2 the time as I found it was a bitch doing it on your own! You can get it exactly to the right size and hopefully save a bit on postage costs :P Example:
