wayneone Posted September 6, 2005 Report Share Posted September 6, 2005 Just one of them things, I snapped the lever on my xc bike last night i didn't even pull it hard just to slow me down a touch and it snapped clean in half, Just get a new one mate. If you can't get the other bit out of the the Frame/Forks then you may have to drill it out. andyzplace Posted September 7, 2005 Report Share Posted September 7, 2005 just incase you already haven't replaced it, you could look at buying high tensile bolts if it happens again. i would still have a good look around the brake area to see if there are any defect with the frame (e.g mount angled inwards at the top) which would create unneccessary stresses on the brake / bolt Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
