munkee
Ok after years of being pissed off with mp3's having parts of other tracks on or being combined i decided to be a fanny and search for some way of cutting out the silence at the start etc and the randomness at the end of tracks. Especially when off mixed cd's. Was pretty easy to find on winamp.. anyway enough bullshit talking heres the link, just thought id like to share the joy. http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?threadid=35629 Edited September 5, 2005 by Spacemunkee
Danny
I use a little program called slicer to cut up mp3s. If you want a copy pm me. Also if you want to cut up long mixes that have cuesheets with them use musiCutter
steve sturt
If you can find it, I think Cool Edit Pro is shareware, and you can do allsorts with that. Its like a primitve version of Cubase (almost) but different.
Drew
Goldwave, Goldwave and Goldwave. It's supposed to be shareware but there's no features cut out and no time limit (on my version anyway). It'll do just about anything you'll ever want to any type of audio file - fade in/out, cut, crop, change speed or pitch to your hearts content! While you're at it, you might as well get EAC - the best cd to mp3 ripping software i've ever found. It takes longer than most but it's worth it for the quality!
