Trials-forum Video Comp....

We were talking about this the other day, whilst out riding, and came up with an idea.

Everyone who enters the comp has to submit three clips of themselves, in decent quality, and upload them to a reliable host.

Then everyone who enters has to download each of the clips of the entrants, and use each one in the video. :-

I think this will give people a chance to show off their editing skills, without everyone saying "the filming/riding was crap".

Certainly an Idea, I'd be up for it.

Mike.

Nicew idea Mike, but i can see watching 10 videos of exactly the same video clips getting rather boring to watch. Im up for the same format as previous years. Great riding doent mkae a superb video, and vice versa, check Sebs vid out for example, awesome editing :-

The same-clip format would make it easier to judge from an editing point of view without the riding (even subconsciously) altering peooples opinions of the vids

However, saying that, it would get a bit repetative seeing the same riders pulling the same moves time after time, even in different orders/effects/transitions etc applied

Anyone got any bright ideas?! :P

I see where fatmike is coming from, but i agree that it could get boring watching the same clips/moves over and over again, just edited differently.

I think that the same fromat as last year should be used, as it encourages all of the best riders/editers/filmers to show off their skills and every video last year was mint. :ermm:
