Smo™
and ur point is " ← No need to be a cock about it. If there are other riders where you are (which there must be, and I'm sure some of them can sidehop) then just get out with one of them and watch their technique. You've just got to keep practising. kick-this
How long have you been riding? What are you trying to side hop up or onto? start on a curb or something small! make sure your parallel to the object Just bring your front wheel up over the curb (or what ever), then pull your back wheel up to follow it easy! its basically a bunny hop but sideways. When you manage to do the small stuff just start move up to bigger things. Its a bit hard to explain on here, just find someone that is local to you and learn off them. failing that download a video of someone doing a sidehop and study it
zoo(1005)
with side hoping i think its mostly about shifting your weight with the bike. anyway i will need abit more detail than what you have already said then i reckon that i could help you. (please specifily abit more) worthingyouthcrew
joshywa
hey i dont know if this will help but.... i find if i look once or twice at where im going to (just before i hop) and think about how much power i need to apply to the pedals then i seem to naturally go to that point ! the point im making is realy just think about what you have to do and you should find it easier hope thats any help (but probably isnt)
Trials Dave
PRACTISE MAKES PERFECT! you will slowly gain confidence then you will get bigger and bigger (Y)
Lawnmowerman
When on the back wheel try not to lower your front end too much. When I sidehop I keep my front end pretty high and lower my arse so pretty close to the rear tyre then I kinda spring up, land front wheel first then pivot my back wheel on.
