Joe_Elding
Hi , Well i want to experimen with my magura by trying different levers etc. What ones are there? I know about the RB one but are there any other ones that you could recommend me? Or if anyone wants to tell me how to make a decent one feel free. Thanks :)
JT!
Magura 04 / 05. RB. Thats about it. Harder / softer compound brake pads make it feel different. Try bleeding it with water, or a different [insert word here for 'runnyness'] of mineral oil.

Mark W
Viscosity? :P Either way, as has been mentioned, it's basically the '04 or earlier lever type, the '05 or later lever type, RB, CNC'd lever blade version or...er...well, that's it really. Just bleeding with water and changing pads/setup changed mine 100% for the better, so just dick around :) Kris Leeson used to weld two lever blades together 'cos he prefered the longer setup, but I wouldn't really bother with that :)
Clownbike
So bleeding it with water.....does this make the lever sharper or softer??? Thanx Neil
Chris Cook
Theres a fresh product magura lever. Not sure if its out yet. But i had a go of todges bike with one on it and it feels really nice. The tpas are really adjustable and strong and so are the levers thereselves. They also look ace :) As soon as they come out and my maggie lever brakes I am getting one :P Link !!!!!!!! So bleeding it with water.....does this make the lever sharper or softer??? Thanx Neil It makes the lever sharper in my experiance. Oil makes it softer :) Edited September 4, 2005 by cooke

PaRtZ
Is it possible to run the RB lever blade, in a standard magura lever?
Siders77
Yep, it just has to be filed down I think. :)
PaRtZ
Next question Where can I get just the blades from? lol
dave85
Yep, it just has to be filed down I think. :) ← for "filed down" insert "mercilessly butchered". I've got one thats about right for the job, its been bent and straightened and didnt like it much, PM me if your bothered. Altek, Kooka and Kule also made aftermarket levers, none of which really work for trials.
Urpedigreechumdog
You can get just RB blades from Fred Savage, i think it's Fred anyway :)

Todge
The lever you see there is Patts after he return from the World Championships. Hence the "used" look to it. Kinda go tthe design sorted, playing with TPA ideas. Work very well indeed, feel good etc. Not sure if they are going into production though.
